The team has a track record of building successful products and services at such companies as Virata, Texas Instruments, SiGe, IBM, Best Buy, Logitech, VUDU, and AOL.
Veebeam is a privately held, venture-backed, corporation created by the 2008 merger of Staccato Communications (San Diego, CA) and Artimi (Cambridge, UK). It maintains offices in Burlingame (CA), Cambridge (UK), and Bangalore (IN).

Jerry Loraine Chief Executive Officer
Jerry Loraine has more than 20 years experience in the semiconductor and wireless communications industries in executive and senior management roles. He has a proven track record of building and leading high-growth, world-class engineering organizations. Jerry joined Veebeam by way of the merger with Artimi where he was the vice president of engineering.
Prior to joining Artimi, Loraine was a vice president and CTO at SiGe Semiconductor, where he played a major role in starting and developing its successful WiFi and GPS integrated circuit business. Before SiGe, he spent four years at Micro Linear, now part of RF Micro Devices, where as a vice president and officer of the NASDAQ listed U.S. corporation, he established and ran the wireless IC product line and the U.K. design center. Loraine was also general manager at Symbionics, a world-renowned design house, where he led the semiconductor and WiFi businesses.
Loraine holds an Honors Physics Degree from the University of Durham.
James Newman Corporate Controller
James has over 10 years experience working in semiconductor, communications and technology companies in financial management, systems and financial accounting roles both in the UK and US.
James joined Veebeam by way of the merger with Artimi where he was Corporate Controller.
Prior to joining Artimi James held positions in NASDAQ listed U.S. corporations as Controller of International Operations at GlobespanVirata and Corporate Controller of Virata, prior to its merger with Globespan.
James is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
